The Noosa Longboards National Park Model

The Noosa Longboards National Park model has been part of our range for more than 20 years. This year we reimagined it using direct feedback from our Noosa Heads team riders, who wanted a leaner, more dialled-in log. The result is our most refined model yet, for when the waves line up and you want to set your line, walk to the tip and stay there.

A Refined, Tighter Outline

The outline draws on the classic ‘66–‘67 Aussie logs, with the wide point set well behind centre for easy pivots and repositioning. We’ve pulled in the nose for a cleaner shape that sits tight in the pocket. That gives you the hold and confidence to get properly critical and hang ten where the wave is steepest, not just out on the shoulder. Refined rails add bite and balance when you’re walking the deck, then release smoothly when you step back to turn.

Speed Meets Pivot

A flatter overall rocker helps the board plane early, carry speed and glide through flat sections without losing momentum. We’ve balanced that with a touch more flip in the tail, so it’s easy to pivot, stall and reposition when you step back. It trims fast and smooth down the line, then comes around easily when the wave asks for it.

A Planted, Connected Feel

We’ve taken a little foam out from under the chest so the board sits deeper in the water. It feels planted and connected, responding to every small weight shift, while still paddling easily and catching waves early.

Who It Suits

Named after the long, lined-up walls of Noosa National Park, it suits intermediate to advanced surfers who want to sharpen their nose riding. It still turns, trims and handles everyday waves with ease, but its real highlight is critical nose riding. When the wave stands up and peels, it locks you in so you can hang ten deep in the pocket and stay there.
