Available at Noosa Longboards on Hastings Street, the WB67 Summer Edition 9’4 is a refined traditional longboard inspired by the surfboards Wayne Burton was shaping in and around 1967 — a period widely regarded as one of the defining eras of Australian longboard design. Designed as an easy-to-surf all-round log, the WB67 offers effortless trim, glide, and confident noseriding while still delivering controlled performance when pushed.

The Summer Edition has been refined for a more cruisy, approachable feel, featuring added foam and width throughout to increase stability and paddle power. A lower, softer rail enhances forgiveness and flow, making this the most nose-oriented variant in the WB range while maintaining clean rail engagement and smooth, pivotal turns.

Built as a tribute to Wayne Burton’s mid-to-late 1960s shapes, the WB67 carries speed naturally through flat sections, holds trim with ease, and provides reliable lift and balance on the nose without sacrificing glide or control. When conditions allow, the board responds with surprising performance for a traditional log, remaining true to its heritage while offering modern usability.

Finished with a beige deck tint, clear bottom, and wetrub finish, the WB67 Summer Edition 9’4 reflects the craftsmanship and attention to detail associated with Noosa Longboards’ traditional range. Best suited with a 10”, 10.5” Retro Fin or 10” NR Fin, it is a highly versatile longboard suited to a wide range of conditions and skill levels. Custom orders are available.
