The Fat Arse Wombat is one of Vouch’s most loved shapes, originally shaped under Bear Surfboards and now updated for modern surfing. It has earned a reputation as an incredibly versatile, fast and enjoyable board in everything from onshore slop to solid reef barrels. Ideal for surfers stepping down from a longboard or riders wanting a lively alternative to a keel-fin fish, the FAW delivers speed, flow and effortless fun.

Simple bottom contours and low rocker generate instant speed the moment you stand up. The latest version adds the option of a quad setup, providing extra drive and control without sacrificing the looseness and agility the Wombat is known for. It’s a board that feels like it disappears under your feet, allowing a natural, intuitive surfing style.

The FAW is available either in its original 2 + 1 setup (with a 9" Vouch flex fin and side bites) or as a quad using your preferred fin set—Vouch recommends the Krypt Powerdrive quads for maximum performance.
