Willie Nelson – Shotgun Willie
When Willie Nelson ditched Nashville's strict studio polish to team up with Atlantic Records in 1973, he birthed the raw, defiant swagger of modern outlaw country. Shotgun Willie is a loose, brilliant collision of honky-tonk, blues, and ragged poetry that laid the absolute blueprint for everything authentic in American roots music.
