The National Park Model
The National Park Model is the team-refined evolution of our popular GT. While the GT is a modern favorite loved for its stable glide, this model was developed from direct feedback from our Noosa Heads team riders who wanted a leaner, more dialed-in alternative. Steeped in tradition, it carries the same timeless DNA but is tuned for a faster, more sensitive feel that rewards a silky smooth style.
A Refined, Tighter Outline
Drawing inspiration from classic involvement-era designs, we’ve pulled in the nose and kept the wide point well behind center. This outline loves sitting tight into the pocket, giving the rider full confidence to stay "locked-in" where the wave is most critical. By tucking the rails, we’ve created a board that offers superior hold and stability when you’re walking the deck, allowing for a secure and balanced feel on the nose.
Speed Meets Pivot
To help you fly through those tricky flat sections, The National Park Model features a flatter rocker for immediate down-the-line speed. We’ve balanced that velocity with a touch more flip in the tail—a subtle tweak that makes the board incredibly easy to pivot, stall, and reposition. Whether it’s long, perfect point breaks or punchy rolling beach breaks, this board adapts to the section without losing momentum.
A Planted, Connected Feel
To give the board a more "planted" feel, we’ve taken a bit more foam out from under the chest. This subtle refinement allows the board to sit deeper in the water, offering a sensitive, connected sensation that responds instantly to every subtle weight shift. It takes the effortless cruising of the GT and sharpens it for a more clinical, high-speed ride that remains approachable for all conditions.
