The Frission 26
The Frission 26 represents a refined middle ground within the Higher State range, acting as a playful blend between the traditional connectivity of the Vault and the high performance drive of the standard Frission.
While the original Frission is built like an "F1 car" for aggressive, high performance surfing, Kai designed the 26 to be an "everyday driver" that feels more rolly and intuitive underfoot.
By re working the technical DNA with a series of "10 percenters", Kai has created a board that offers more lift and stability than the standard model, making it a platform that rewards technical footwork without requiring constant aggressive input.
How It Surfs
The Frission 26 sits between power and poise, blending the fluid rail transition of the Vault 66 with the responsiveness and release of the Frission.
Unlike the original Frission, which thrives on aggressive drive, the 26 requires less input to come alive. It transitions naturally, responds quickly, and carries energy efficiently through tighter, more critical sections.
This board is built for surfers who want sensitivity and involvement, a longboard that feels precise, intuitive, and alive underfoot.
