The Noosa Longboards GT Model

The GT, short for Go To, is the latest model in the Noosa Longboards lineup. It’s your board for 90% of surfing: fast, approachable and easy to ride, and well balanced whether you’re competing or looking for your first true log.

Outline and Bottom

The GT sets the hips back behind centre like a classic ‘66/’67 Aussie outline, keeping those hippy involvement-style turns and making it easy to reposition. The nose is a touch broader than a typical involvement-era board, with a soft blended concave underneath to support and sustain long nose rides. That blends into a light roll through the bottom, with a touch of V out through the tail to keep it manoeuvrable.

Built to Last

Each board is glassed to last, with a nice trim weight that helps you hold speed down the line on fast, low-tide sections. There’s plenty of foam under your chest to keep paddle speed high and get you into waves early.

Rails and Rocker

A balanced, forgiving medium 50/50 rail and a touch of tail flip keep the GT easy to ride when conditions are average, without dulling the feel when it’s perfect and firing on all cylinders.

Who It Suits

The GT is our go-to all-rounder for beginners through to advanced surfers. Its highlight is versatility. Points or beach breaks, bad days or good days, it handles whatever’s on offer. Nose riding is a standout too, with a stable, forgiving nose that makes long rides up front feel easy.
